Sixth floor, so the noise of the road never quite reaches it. Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a balcony that catches the breeze off the water all afternoon. Sleeps four.
The kusi gets up most afternoons around four and moves through the whole apartment if you leave the balcony doors open. Air conditioning in every room for the days it doesn’t, and a pool in the courtyard downstairs for the days it does.

Cool floors, warm light, room to spread out.
Porcelain tile underfoot, cove-lit ceilings, air conditioning and fans throughout. A full kitchen, a balcony over the courtyard pool, and enough room that four people aren’t in each other’s way. Serviced between stays and kept the way the photographs show it.

Nine minutes from the sand
Mount Kenya Road runs from the gate straight down to the beach: six hundred metres, flat the whole way, past the hotels and onto the sand. Come back the other way and the shops, the hospital and the matatu route are all within a few minutes. Nyali is a quiet, green part of Mombasa, and this is one of its quieter corners.
